The four member Australian Parliamentary Delegation led by Senator Derryn Hinch and Deputy Leader Kevin Andrews MP visited TCV on 21 November 2017. They were accompanied by Senator Ms. Kimberley Kitching, Labour Party of Australia and Ms. Meryl Jane Swanson, MP (Labour Party of Australia). 

Tibet Out Country Month was observed in TCV Choglamsar. Day is celebrated with lot of colors and excitement.


The UWC India and DoE CTA conducted the selection interview in Dharamshala for the 2017 United World College Scholarship. All the 4 seats were bagged by students from TCV Selakui and Suja.

Bipartisan US congressional delegation led by House Leader Nancy Pelosi visits TCV.

From its humble beginning 54 years ago, Tibetan Children's Village has today become a thriving, integrated educational community for destitute Tibetan children in exile, as well as for hundreds of those escaping from Tibet every year. It has established branches in India extending from Ladakh in the North to Bylakuppe in South, with over 16,726 children under its care.
