Working for the care and education of Tibetan refugee children

Bipartisan US congressional delegation led by House Leader Nancy Pelosi visits TCV.

Dear Friends,

I write this letter to inform all our friends, sponsors and donor ogranizations about the change of Presidentship at the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV).

As per the bye law of the organization the incumbent president Mr. Tsewang Yeshi after completing two full terms as the president hands over the baton of leadership to the newly elected president Mr. Thupten Dorjee. The initial secret ballot was casted last February by 26 members of TCV Management and Council members and opened during the governing body meeting held on 13th April in the presence of the chairman Mr. Ngudup Tsering – Education Minister. With majority of votes in favour of Mr. Thupten Dorjee,  the Governing Body Members formally endorsed the appointment of the new president – Mr. Thupten Dorjee.

"..the success of the membership campaign will mean a big achievement for TCV...a true reflection of its work...that would inspire and make everyone involved in our work proud and happy.." Click for President's Message
