As per the bye law of the organization the incumbent president Mr. Tsewang Yeshi after completing two full terms as the president hands over the baton of leadership to the newly elected president Mr. Thupten Dorjee. The initial secret ballot was casted last February by 26 members of TCV Management and Council members and opened during the governing body meeting held on 13th April in the presence of the chairman Mr. Ngudup Tsering – Education Minister. With majority of votes in favour of Mr. Thupten Dorjee,  the Governing Body Members formally endorsed the appointment of the new president – Mr. Thupten Dorjee.

Mr. Thupten Dorjee is currently working as our general secretary and has been in the service of TCV for the last forty one years working mostly in the administrative capacities in our various branches. TCV looks forward to his leadership to take TCV to greater heights.
