All the Tibetan Children's Villages and Schools in India unanimously celebrated the Children's Day on the 14 November which is the birth Anniversary of the Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the 1st Prime Minister of Republic of Independent India.

In the morning, despite the unwelcoming weather condition, UTCV School held its Children's function with different prizes and certificates distribution to outstanding students. The School Captain, Prefects, House Prefects, Winners of All India National Science Exhibitions, Winners of TCV Creative Writing Contest and Best Contributors in Cultural Activities were honoured during the day followed by talent show amongst the children.

In the evening, different sections of staff displayed their songs, dances and skits before children which lasted for almost 3 hours but the children thouroughly enjoyed it.
