TCV Alumni 1984 Class X Batch Reunion Program during the 49th Founding Anniversary 23-26 Oct 2009
TCV School-a HOME for many, this year we invited UTCV 1984 class X batch alumni brothers and sisters to celebrate the 49th Founding Anniversary of TCV School. 11 Alumni brothers and sisters from Ladakh, Pokhara, Hunsur, Bir/Chauntra, Kullu and Dharamsala have attended the Anniversary. Amongst them, two alumni were to receive TCV 20 years service award and had really wonderful time.
Again among those who were present, 8 of them were stil working in the Tibetan Children's Villages. During the Anniversay gathering, they received special audience from H.H the Gyalwa Karmapa Rinpoche as well as group photo session right after the morning program at the playground. On the second day of Anniversary i.e, Sports Day; all 1984 batch students were honoured as special guests and had a wonderful bright & sunny day!
On the third day morning, they joined the TCV staff and children at the school temple for Sangsol (Tsampa Offering) followed by Gorshae dance and group photo session as well as lunch and meeting with the TCV Management on various issues.
On the 26th morning, group of TCV Alumni guests along with the TCV 20 years Service Awardees took the day off for TCV School tour starting from Upper TCV to Lower TCV, Gopalpur, Chauntra and finally TCV Suja and back on the same night. The guests enjoyed the trip and had the opportunity to see different TCV Schools as well as and feel their environment from so many different ways.
On the same evening, they organised a dinner for all the Management Staff and their loving teachers to mark their gratitude and Ama Jetsun Pema la also showed up to bless the Alumni group. They all had wonderful time to share with each other and cherish by recalling all the magical memories of those bygone days...
